In Memory of Caleb Tolano
To the friends, family, and faithful supporters of the Brazos de Amor /Arms of Love orphanage ministry, in Agua Prieta, Mexico:
Many of you know or are acquainted with Reuben and Rosie Tolano who are the on site Directors of the (Brazos de Amor – Arms of Love) orphanage. Reuben and Rosie are directly responsible for the day to day care and nurturing of the 40 - 65 orphaned children at Brazos de Amor.
On Sunday afternoon March 2, 2008 Caleb Tolano the youngest child of Reuben and Rosie was hit by a car in Agua Prieta, Mexico. Caleb died later that evening, and his funeral was held on March 3, 2008.
The Board of Directors of Concern International and Brazos de Amor would like to ask you, our friends, family, and faithful supporters to remember the following individuals in prayer over the next days and weeks.
Rueben and Rosie Tolano:
• Pray that God will provide comfort, healing, and strength in the tragic loss of their youngest son.
Anna and Lapita:
• Pray for Anna and Erica as they often took care of Caleb.
• Pray that God will give them the strength to answer questions of the children at the orphanage.
• Pray that God will open doors and that children will come to know Christ as their personal Savior as a result of this loss.
Ralph Venema
• Pray for Ralph as he works directly with Reuben and Rosie, that he would be able to offer words of comfort and hope during these difficult days.
• Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength for Ralph during these days.
• Pray that Ralph will have the opportunity to lead young children to Christ as a direct result of this tragic event.
Work Groups:
• Pray for the work groups that are at the orphanage, that they will able to use their time and talent to minister to these hurting children.
• Pray that they will be blessed and that they will be used of God as a blessing to our Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ, in these trying days.
